SONGS OF JOY: Contains music on the Grade One level. Designed to continue the study of music where the MUSIC NOTE PRIMER and the JOY BELLS FOR CHILDREN left off. Some classics are introduced as well as some folk songs and some original music by Mary Jo Moore. The book is not progressive and the student may skip around. Student is encouraged to become acquainted with good music that might not necessarily fall into the category of "sacred music."
